Limos have always been a popular item to rent in the United States. They are considered luxurious and come in a variety of different styles. You can rent pretty standard limos, such as stretch, sedan, or hummer from a Denver Limo Service, but there are some extremely expensive limos that can be found on the roads as well.
What are limos used for?
- Weddings
- Birthday parties
- Proms
- Nights out
The Batmobile – $4.2 Million
Although only inspired by the Batman movies, someone actually built a limo that looks like a Batmobile in 2012. It has rear flaps on the brakes, a jet engine, a rocket launcher, and a gasoline control. It even has eject-able front and back wheels! It looks similar to a corvette and drives like one too. It is nothing like a standard limo, but nice to dream about.
The American Dream – $4 Million
This car was built by Jay Ohrberg, a car collector. This limousine was built to have 26 tires and to be 100 feet long. It holds the Guinness World Records as the world’s longest car, includes a heated Jacuzzi, sun deck, swimming pool, beds, and even a helipad. Worth $4 million, it is a special car used for movies as well.
The Beast – $3 Million
Although not outrageous like the other two, this limo was used in 2009 by U.S. President Barack Obama and is very classy. It is worth $3 million and has armored plates able to block anything that comes its way, even an RPG. It also claims to have firefighting equipment, oxygen tanks, and shotguns attached. It is made by GM and can hold seven people. It is covered in blue cloth on the interior rather than leather. Fancy.
The Midnight Rider – $2.5 Million
If you want to really ride in style, this limo is a tractor-trailer limousine and the only one known to be built in history. It holds the record of the World’s Heaviest Limousine. This is impressive because it has three separate lounges, the ability to host a service crew of five people, in including a hostess and two bartenders, as well as a full commercial-sized bar.
Toyota Century Royal – $534,135
On the cheaper end of this list is the 4-door limousine from Toyota built for the Emperor of Japan. There are only four units known to have been built since 2006, but they are impressive. Featuring a 5-liter V12 engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission system, as well as internal granite entry steps. Fit for a king?
