As Summer fun in Denver begins to draw to a close, we’re still transporting you in luxury and style to Denver’s August events. Let’s take a look at what’s happening in our beautiful mile-high city.

To start with, we have several festivals kicking off the month in the greater Denver metropolitan area. Leadville Boom Days Festival celebrates the history of the historic mining town of Leadville, CO Aug. 3-5 with a parade, gunslingers, food, crafts, and a car show. Keystone is putting on a Bluegrass and Beer Festival Aug 4-5th, and The Olathe Sweet Corn Festival will be feasting and celebrating on Aug 4th.

In sports, the Colorado Rockies will play a series of home games August 6-12, where they’ll be playing the Pirates and the Dodgers, and a Volunteers of America Golf Tournament will be taking place Aug. 2nd. The Outlaws lacrosse team will be playing Atlanta on August 4th, and the Colorado Rapids soccer team will play the San Jose Earthquakes Aug 11th. The Annual Charity Ascent will begin Aug 10th, starting at Herman Gulch in Dillon, and ending in Idaho Springs.

In music, we have a series of amazing musical acts at Red Rocks including the world-renowned Yo-Yo Ma performing Bach’s complete solo cello suites on August 1st, DJ Snake August 2nd, Lucero August 3rd, Pretty Lights Aug 10-11th, and more. Panic! At the Disco will also be playing the Pepsi Center on August 7th, and Jack White will be at 1st Bank Center on August 8th, and Kenny Loggins and Hudson Gardens August 11th.

We also have the comedic genius of Steve Martin and Martin Short at Red Rocks on August 6th.
